Educational Purpose/Objectives

Ross Valley Nursery School is dedicated to providing a permanent, nonprofit institution of high standards that offers opportunities for preschool children to interact with other children of the same age, develop positive self-esteem, and gain independence and self-control under trained guidance in a safe and nurturing environment that is structured to meet each child’s individual needs.

The Programs

Ross Valley Nursery School offers separate programs for three-, four-, and five-year-olds--our Junior, Senior, and Pre-K classes. Each program is designed to meet the special needs of the specific age group while allowing for individual differences. The activities for each class are carefully planned, with materials prepared beforehand so that the children move into an environment already set up upon their arrival.
